I read that I can not go from 32 xp to 64 vista. Does that mean that I can do that from within xp or does that mean that if I do a clean install to vista 64 I will loose everything, files and such. I have a Intel D 940 3.20 with a Intel D975x motherboard
Just want to take advantage of any speed increases.
Thanks

another 32 to 64
if you do a normal clean install you will loose all your files and stuff. but if you do a dual boot you should be fine. remember to install vista on a 2nd partition, either on the same hard drive or on a secondary hard drive. i suggest installing in on a 2nd hard drive. i installed vista on a secondary multibay disk on my evo laptop. it works great so far only like 5 bugs so far.
